    folks,

    help here pls

    facing redundancy and was wondering what i would be entitled too if i do get the heave

    i am married with 2 kids , we have separate tax allowances if that makes a difference

    what would i get approx and what other stuff could i claim if i shout loud enough.

    appreciate any responses as never signed on before.

    Should qualify for Jobseekers Benefit €197.80 and might get payment for kids (up to €24 each). Kids' payment depends on whether your partner is working and how much they earn. Can claim for partner ~€130 if they are not working.

    May not receceive payment for up to two months depending on how large any redundancy payment is (but it would need to be very high ~€100,000 for this to happen).

    Other stuff? Try the local Health Board for rent/mortgage payments.
