    Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to share that I came across a group over on The Green Button who are starting to develop an open source media library for Media Center.

    Information here:

    Green Button post
    Google Code
    Open Media Library Forum

They are interested in "feature requests" and experienced developers to help !

Just thought I'd share as I am sure of interest..... xyxthumbs.gif

Being keeping an eye on this myself, using media browser at the moment, the latest release isnt great (previous release's were), very slow metadata update, crashes etc.

How stable is this prog? might give it a spin.

Well, its only just been released to the public, but I am using it, and also done some beta testing of the SQL version before the official public release.

I had switched back and forth between OML and MB, but am now going to stick with this seen as MB won't be free, and integration feels pretty good. In fact I just uninstalled MB yesterday but prior had both apps running.

Their main priority from prior OML versions was to switchover to SQL, and now that they've done that, I suspect we will start to things rapidly improve.

As its only out to the public, and now with wider usage I suspect we will see a flurry of initial 'teething' issues, and feature requests.

You can always keep an eye in their forum to see what cropping up, and I am sure a follow-on release won't be that far away.
