is the N91 worth considering as a music phone. i am trying to make up my mind betwen the nokia 5310 or one of the higher end sonys but seen the N91 recommended on a few websites as well. is it still available in Ireland?

one of the drawbacks for me with the 5310 seems to be the headphones which are supposed to be very short. is it possible to get around this by using an adapter with other headphones

do the walkmans come with radio as well?

    any other suggestions are welcome

if you can get your hands on a reasonably priced n91, and the - by today's standards - small screen doesn't bother you, GET IT! The sound quality is second to none!!! Even the stupid nokia start up tune suddenly sounds brilliant!!! It's also very sturdy and the hard drive in mine survived numerous, eh, accidents! i only sold it cause I use phones a lot for email and web, and the keypad sucks for a lot of text entry! Else it's a great great boom box!!!!

I had the N91 for a good while, the keys were very small and i found the software so F'ing slow even after firmware updates but as strecker said, the sound quality is fairly savage. I did like the phone while i had it but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I was always scared of giving it any abuse because it was HDD based. A more modern, flash based phone would be much better imo.

Yes. There a good phone but a bit out-dated and if i were you i would aim for something more modern with microSD. They are quite bulky also. The upside to the n91 is that any standard 3.5mm headphones will fit it but the 5300 has to use nokia headphones.
