TREK 4300 disk MTB used or trek 4300 disc new

    Hi,

    I want to buy a trek 4300 disc brake mountain bike.

    I can buy the trek 4300 disc new for 495 euro or the trek 4300 disc second hand for 380 euro.

    Difference of 115 euro. Second hand bike is in decent condition.

    What would you go for? Any helpful opinions welcome

    Depends on the age/condition really but I would probably go new if I couldn't haggle the second-hand seller down further. €380 is 75% of new for which it would want to be perfect condition IMHO.

    i agree with Blorg. I would buy new. for the sake of €115 you would be buying peace of mind , warranty etc. unless you can rob the second hand one off the person it doesnt seem like good value.
