    I think Lui Xiang might not have it all his way come the olympics, although its strange that people are running so many fast times ahead of the olympics, you know not to burn yourself out. Then again I am not a world class athlete.

    If you are running fast you are running fast, not much you can do about it especially in the high hurdles where you can't really lift off. Based on his indoor season its not too much of a surprise. The man mountain David Oliver will also be in the hunt if he gets through the US OT after his 12.95 in Doha even though he sat in the blocks in that race.

    Robles display last night (seen on the head on slow mo) was probably the best display of power and control I've ever seen, it was just amazing. I think he murmurred one of the hurdles with his hamstring but other than he was so clean and fast.

    I love the Cubans, such classy athletes.

    When I read this thread title I instantly thought it was Lui Xiang beating his own recored..great stuff outa Robles! Is there anywhere I can watch a re-run of this race? Can't wait for their head to head come August..all going well of course..damn hurdles are so unpredictable!!:D
