I drove past this place the other day. It seems to be in a state of neglect.

    Lol @ 45 seconds in!

Any of you old timers remember this place? :D

From what I heard from Local Councillors the corpo plans to redevelop the whole area over the next 2 years. No planning lodged yet, but plans are believed to include upgrading the adjacent running track and hockey pitches into a top class facility and more car parking for the DART Station along with a new access road and path from East Point. So I imagine that would take up much of the Traffic School site.

Will check with Council tomorrow to see if there are any further plans or details.

I went there once as a kid as part of the Church Summer Camp, all the lads headed straight for the go karts instead of the girlie bikes, within in 5 minutes all the bikes were commandeered in order to race around the track faster, i got into trouble for going the wrong way around a roundabout, but i won the race so it was worth it.

    Happy memories

Yeah I remember going there from school in the early seventies. Great day.

Pity they don't teach kids these days how to used the roads properly. Might save a few lives in the future.
