Religion? what did ye think?

I thought it was much hardeer than the mocks and the questions were asked in a really roundabout way-more than usual. and i hated q3, is it just me or did they basicly ask they same question twice?:rolleyes:

I messed up on one of the questions.

You had to pick a religion and an important time for that religion. I picked Christmas and Christianity. A 12 mark question said "How do members of this religion mark this important time?"

I said "On a calendar"

I said this in another thread but yeah I hated the paper:( I went into the exam confident enough since the mock wasn't too bad, but feeeckin hell.... the question about the search for the 'meaning of life' was the biggest piss take...?! the problem is it's stuff you can waffle about but then you worry it's too general and you're not giving enough detail.. I know NOTHING about those marking schemes =S 'cause there aren't any facts you can base any of that stuff on since it's different for everyone. And there were 3 questions asking you pretty much the same thing for every one. I must've used the word 'spiritual' about 60 times today..

I can't really compare to the mocks because religion was my first exam in the mocks and we were mourning the death of 2 other students, so ultimately, I felt it was easier than the mocks.

As for the paper, they were about as hard as I was expecting and I did absoloutley no study. I felt I did an okay job so i am happy. Religion isn't a subject i care greatly about so anything about 40% is good in my books. There's a lot of theory and writing involved in it though which is a pain in the arse...

I reckon I got an A i answered everything i needed to and filled up the pages on the last question...
i done question 4 it was very easy :P could writwe loads on it.

i tout it was fairly easy but dere was loads of writing in it!!!
i skipped some parts cus i cudnt be arsed really!!:D

Yeah this lad in our school wrote about how leadership needs authority and service, but he said that he was going to out and find bitch made niggas and fire at them with a flamethrower, not a word of a lie, the chap is a gob****e, he also said something about wanting to invade North Korea successfully cos it would prove good leadership skills.

The religion exam was just :eek:,
the mocks were so easy, so i went into the exam fairly confident that i would do well. The meaning of life stuff was a total joke, i just wrote down a whole load of waffle for it, i'd say i got a C, D at worst..

Me too! When I had to write about the conscience development throughout life I was comparing to how little kids tear wings off flies but no one would do it when they are older. Of course, it was phrased much better!!

Well religion as a subject isn't so much as "tick a box saying you believe in a God and you will get an A" No oe is disrespecting your views, its just that the exam is seen as a bit of a joke and so is the subject. Just the way it is really
