Hatton struggled at 147 against Mayweather. With that in mind against DLH he would be fighting a man who has often fought above 147. So DLH would be simply too big and too strong for Hatton. Hatton would suffer a ko loss inside six rounds.

Osacr is a weight bigger at least ,..... although I dont like Oscar , i'd have to say he'd be given the points victory.

there's somethiong about the golden boy i just dont like.
he's carrying too much power in boxing, he's dominating the promotion scene , carry's a lot of weight with HBo , owns the "Ring-Magazine" , and I also remember that there was a judge struck off the Forbesfight as he was a personal friend of dela-hoya's mother.

I'd love to see Dela-hoya knocked off the perch.

    I agree.

Cotto could be the man to do just that

DLH would finish him in about 8 or 9 rounds.

De la hoya is too good for him, with his age now I dont know if he would knock him out but he would beat him pretty comprehensively imo.

Dela would destroy Hatton within 5. Just think how Hatton struggled against Collazo.

    Hatton cannot fight at welter.

Well considering that De la Hoya went up as far as Middleweight to fight Bernard Hopkins, and gave as good as he got until he was stopped I might add, suggests that he would make very short work of a much smaller and extremely predictable Hatton.

    Hatton vs

    DLH
    Cotto
    Floyd

= A LOT of money to be made by betting against Hatton!!

Though I've no doubt that De La Hoya would stop Hatton if he wanted too I think he'd be happy to just beat him on points.
