Paypal Refund Problem

I am having a problem trying to refund a buyer on Paypal. The dispute was opened last week with a temporary hold and a negative balance (i had no funds in the account at the time of the dispute) and I said i'd offer them the refund no problem (€85).

I also had a dispute with another buyer for €150 as they did not receive their item yet.

In the meantime I received a refund from a seller for approximatley €180 into my account. My balance is still around -€50. However when I go to the dispute with my 1st buyer and try to refund the money it says it can't as sufficient funds are not available. How is this as i have been refunded the money? Or is the money already refunded to them?

If the second buyer dispute is closed will the money then be available?

I'm just a little confused by it and if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

For the €180 refund to your account, did that payment originally come from a credit card? If so, it'll go back to that. If you have a card registered then I think if you issue a refund to a buyer, it should be able to fund it from your card. Not sure on that point though.

Yeah that came off the card originally. Thanks. I was wondering is there any other way to get funds into the paypal account using a card or bank account?

Not from an Irish bank account, and not from any credit card. You can send Paypal a cheque and they'll put the funds in your account, but this could take a while. The buyers could become rather annoyed by the time it gets there.
