As the title says. There was a bit of debate on the soccer forum with some posters arguing that the Cork Co Board only lease it from the local authority??

I was sure they built it themselves??

Tell the soccer boys to back off. They already got their grubby little mitts on Croker and that's enough for them. :D

I thought that Cork GAA owned it, but that they wanted the land next door which belongs to the local authority to redevelop the stadium.

    Not 100% sure though.

A better question to ask would be who owns Hyde Park, I believe there is a right old ding dong between Roscommon Gaels and the County Board and now the original trustees are looking to get involved.
