racedriver:grid how the hell do i open ports

    got my son a game grid:racedriver on ps3 and it wont go online unless i can open inbound and outbound ports tcp/udp 3074, its very frustrating first off to have to do this its even more infuriating when your a computer spaz like me.ive got great help off this site before so im trying again.ive tried to dmz my ps3 but when i go to put my ip in my browser it times out on me.please could you advise me on this. please bear in mind im a complete idiot when it comes to this type of thing.

    if ya have nat 1 theres no need to open ports cos ur connected direct to the net with no firewall

    i tought this myself, but as i said im an idiot when it comes to this stuff, im still getting sign in error an error ocurred whilst signing in to your account.this is the only game i have trouble with,is it just that the game has sht online features,one min it lets me access just to be dissconected when the game starts.aaagghhhh

    i'd say it just the game most games have trouble online when they come out

    thats what a mate of mine said, i emailed codemasters and jeez the email they sent me back, i swear to god you would have to be a IT expert to understand all the info they were asking me.ill give it a few more days before i start trowing hand grenades

    I have no problems connecting to a game playing GRiD and I haven't even touched my PS3 ports. It has frozen 2 or 3 times mid game though.

    ok everything is working fine now, it must have been at there end, its a fine ds still the same old idiots that think its more fun hitting you rather than trying to take a corner.
