Sorry if this is a stupid question but my brother got Chorus MMDS recently and can't figure out how to record programmes with on the video recorder. Does he need to do something special?

If it's something he does regularly, I'd suggest that he just upgrades to the DVR, it's only a few quid extra and it gives you similar functionality to Sky+.

(Depends on whether it's available on MMDS in your area though)

Well it depends on what UPC have at the head end in your area.
