    On Saturday July 5th Lunar Disko celebrates its 2nd birthday with the help of Dutch electro / italo legends Alden Tyrell & Intergalactic Gary. The celebrations kick-off early evening with a Dopplereffekt and Decal Live performance up in the Sugar Club, then the party continues down in the Kennedy's basement on a night that promises to be one to remember!

    Alden Tyrell is the man of modern electro classics like Love Explosion, Little, Disco Lunar Module, Rendevous at Rimini, Phaze Me and Hills Of Honolulu. Hailing from Rotterdam, he produces music for leading electro labels such as Clone,Viewlexx and Moustache Records. Alden Tyrell has roots in Hip hop and disco and has produced music since he could understand how to switch on a synthesizer. In the mid eighties he was producing raw hip hop and electro and was producing mixes which where broadcasted on the legendary Ferry Maat soul show on the national Dutch radio. Today Alden Tyrell is working on various projects such as The Hasbeens(alongside Dj Overdose) and The Clone Machine (with Dexter, Egyptian Lover & Jamie Jupitor) aswell as being the man behind all the mastering of Clone & Dub releases.

    His live shows always encompass his legendary driving electro and italo style and judging from Mr Tyrell's MySpace page his live show will be full of new material alongside his legendary sounds!

    Jetting in from Holland with Alden Tyrell is without doubt our favourite DJ ever...Intergalactic Gary. This will be I-G's 4th time to play for us and after playing our 1st birthday last year alongside Mr Pauli, we decided to get him back again to celebrate our 2nd birthday!

    I-G is a true mixmaster - italo, chicago,acid,electro,detroit....you name it, this guy has all the killer mixes you need. His legendary mixes on the CBS.nu have seen him play in places such as Panorama Bar -Berlin, Barcelona, Paard Den Haag , Melkweg Amsterdam , Moscow, Dublin, Glasgow, Madrid, Geneva, Munich.

    We also have a Comp going for the Detroit/Drimnagh axis show of Dopplereffekt & Decal at The Sugar Club this Saturday - early show. Doors at 7.30.

    If you are going to the Dopplereffekt gig and plan to head down to Kennedy's after look out for flyers being handed out at the gig as this will give you a reduced admission into Tyrell / Gary. If you miss out on a flyer a stamp or something to say you've been at the Sugar Club before hand will get you the reduced admission too.
