    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has stayed in either of these hotels or both? I am planning a romantic weekend away for my anniversary and these are near where I want to be. Any reviews/comments?

    Thanks!

No contest - Royal Marine Hotel!
This is a unique property, offering old fashioned hospitality. Unusual for Dublin, and even hard to find down the country. They are still new, having recently gone through what seems to be a substantial refurbishment (almost rebuild), but the potential is there once they establish themselves.
It's seems to be a very versatile hotel - family events, corporate, leisure guests. Great for south Dublin and surrounds.

Woudl go with the Royal Marine, is very very nice since the refurb.
