Another sporting occasion coming up in Athlone is TriAthlone. The European TriAthlon Championships will be held in Athlone in 2010 and for the last few years they have being gearing up for that. There should be plenty of sporting action, lots of crowds and a riverside location right in the heart of Athlone.
