Going to LA and Vegas for 3 months. Just looking for advice on the best places to play 2-5 in Vegas and anyone know what the games are like in LA? Also if they have 3-6nl or 5-5 nl in these places. Where are the sofest games, etc.?

No idea about LA, I think the card rooms might be a bit away from most of the touristy popular places, not in the best of areas.

Vegas will have a couple of tables of 2/5NL in most of the bigger card rooms. Bellagio, Venetian, Caesars, Wynn for definite.

I ran a thread a couple of months ago which got a nice bit of feed back id link you with it but computer wont allow me if you use the search function you should find it.

Il be in La in about a week i plan on playing at least once while there.

Your best bet is the commerce or the bicycle casino. I know the 2+2 sing praises of the commerce as the games are soft.

2-5 has a cap buy in of $200 5-10 is $400 etc.... which you might find strange.

Both of these casinos are in bad areas and from what i make out they are a nice distance from the areas you will most likely be staying. Where in La do you plan on staying?

If youd like to ask anything else fire ahead ive done a bit of research on the subject. Vegas is pointless asking about they will cater for all needs.

fwiw, they've finally got $1500 capped 5/10 tables at commerce..

also consider hustler and hawaiian gardens for lower stakes, the bike sucks imo..
