In the market for a ipod touch 16gb (cheapest place ect)

Im in the market for a ipod touch 16gb model. Where is the cheapest place to get it with a decent warrantee and reputable service?
I dosnt matter if its online or retail as long as its in the eu and not ebay!(warrantee becomes an issue with ebay!)
Amazon seem to have a good deal??

EDIT Whats the difference in the touches with software upgrade and without?

Not totally true. I had to get my 32gb touch replaced (bought of ebay, UK seller) as it had a few dead pixels. I went into an official apple retailer/repair centre and they replaced my touch with minimal fuss.

The touches with the software update are newer, the ones without would not be newer than january. The additional software applications are pretty useless really if you intend on jailbreaking your touch anyway.

This came up for an 8GB a couple of weeks ago and Amazon came up very well. The 16 works out about 300 ex delivery.

I think there is even newer software that's coming out on July 11 for it, I think it is suppose to be $9.95.. But like Mactard said, won't make any odds if you're going to jail break it.

Yes im jailbreaking it. How does that work so instead of sending back to the retailer you go directly to apple? will they ask for proof of purchase? Will any problems arise if it is an ebay retailer?

Anybody seen any good deals anywhere my dad flys to england every week so is there any major retail stores that sell it cheap?
