Transferring Music from Cassettes to Laptop?

    Hi All,

    Sorry if this is the wrong forum. Any easy way to transfer music from tapes to a laptop?

    First, a male-to-male stereo jack cable. Connect from line/headphones out on tape player to the line in of the laptop. Then it's just a matter of picking a music program to record and save to mp3. There are various free programs to do this, Google or the Essential Software thread should have something.
