[Advice Wanted] Accommodation in Galway-wait until August

I've only tried a few places so far in fairness, but each one has told me to wait until august and then check with them for student accommodation. Is this normal?

Yeah, that's pretty normal I would say. Have been living in non-university accommodation the last 3 years of college at NUIG, and have come across the same situation.

Most places won't advertise until August, just keep an eye on the Advertiser and the college website.
