    McArdle's is indeed made by Diageo, but they don't like to talk about it. Smithwick's is what the hip kids are drinking.

    I like McArdles. You can get it in Tesco and Dunnes. Think it is about 1.25 euro a can. A nice, refreshing ale. Sweet...:)

    Bulmers are doing something similar, a box of 14 500ml cans+bbq set for about €30.

    :) More the reluctantly-adopted unloved orphan. And, of course, Diageo was responsible for killing off its parent, the Macardle-Moore brewery.
