Hello. Can anyone tell if Pitch & Putt has the same regulations regarding hole sizes as golf? i.e. 4.25 inches diameter? Hello.

Can anyone tell if Pitch & Putt has the same regulations regarding hole sizes as golf? i.e. 4.25 inches diameter?

The reason I ask is that I have seen one or two golf courses which have a hole size about a quarter or half inch smaller than regulation. This may be due to sloppy maintenance or other issues but it seems as though the hole cutter is simply too small. Have they got a hole cutter designed for something else? Or what would result in a smaller hole??

Pitch and putt has the same dimensions for cup size as a golf course. Maybe someone has big feet and crushing in the top of the hole!
