Hi Folks, starting a new job in the Point next week. I can get to Heuston Station no problem. Anyone know how to get from there to the Point other than:
    1. No. 90 Bus to IFSC and walk the rest of the way.
    2. A fold up bike.
    3. Luas to Connolly and walk from there.
    4. Taxi (too dear)
    Any help would be great.

It'll be Luas to Abbey St shortly as they'll stop running the Luas between Abbey St and Connolly.

Don't know much about foldup bikes. Could you store a cheap (and I mean worthless!) bike at Heuston?

Motorcycle. Easiest option by far :)

Anyone know how long an average walk from the IFSC to the Point takes?

You could walk it in 20-25 minutes if you stepped it out. It's 1.5 - 2km.

Heuston to Eden Quay on 90

Eden Quay to point on 53a

I'd get the 90 and walk. It goes quite a distance past Connolly before it turns - can't remember the exact street but it's not far from the Point.
