travelling to UK Classic Car events in Summer 2008?

We are considering taking a 1950's classic and travelling over to the Silverstone Classic Car show in late July, travelling over on thursday 24th and back on Monday 29th, are there any clubs/club members going over that may be travelling in convoy? We're also looking at the Tatton Park Vintage and Classic show on the 17th…

We are considering taking a 1950's classic and travelling over to the Silverstone Classic Car show in late July, travelling over on thursday 24th and back on Monday 29th, are there any clubs/club members going over that may be travelling in convoy?

We're also looking at the Tatton Park Vintage and Classic show on the 17th August, any comments, anyone travelling?

I will be taking my 1979 Austin Princess 2000 HLS to Peterborough for the big BMC/BL Rally on 3rd August.

she's a beauty, looks like a mint car, that Princess. we've a 1951 Buckler (Ford Special) and it looks like the Silverstone classic will be the one we make in the UK. We'll keep an eye out for you over the summer here at home.
