    Hey All

Just wanted your opinions...Been with the same company for 4 years, I've now had enough, certain people are making it hard to work here (no bullying etc or anything, just they way the person is unfortunately), and also no real chance of me progressing my career...

So really my question is, I have a few interviews lined up etc, but no real solid job offers, I'm thinking of just handing in my notice (I have to work a month's notice) and concentrating on finding a new job. I have enough funds to live off of for 2/3 months, so would you leave??

I know its a bit risky with the job market at the mo, but I have a good CV, lots of relevant exp and qualifications, I figure 2 or 3 months should be enough time.....

    Your thoughts please...

No, stay until you get a job.

About three years ago I did the same thing as you, and ended up spending six months looking for a job. The economy was a lot better back then, I have in demand skills...

I know I'm being hasty, its just the way things are here...last few months have been terrible to work here, I think I have it in the back of my head that I'll go travelling if jobwise things go pear shaped and I can't find anything else :)

Op it's a lot easier to get a job when you have one. Also the company will offer you more as they will be trying to get you away from your current company.
If you are unemployed they can offer you less as they'll think your desperate for a job.
