First car advice

I'm looking to buy my first car with the ol doll. I have driven for about 5 years (using the parents car) and she is a total beginner. We are both in our mid twenties. I'd say €5,000 would be our maximum budget. I was thinking of something like a Toyota Xaris. Any other suggestions? Is carzone.ie the best place to buy?

The Yaris isn't the cheapest out there, but it is safe, reliable, and easy to learn to drive in. Find a well-cared-for example with full service history from a private owner on carzone and you won't go far wrong.
