    Hi

I'm in the market for a printer. Looking in the <140Euro region. Firstly I am leaning towards a laser printer. My usage will me mainly for printing off the odd documents + maps but never for colour photos. Colour would be nice, but from what I've read the inkjet colour printers can be expensive to run. Any opinions?

Ethernet or wifi connectivity is a requirement too as I want to share it between an iMac and a Macbook.

    I'm leaning towards a Brother 2150N or a Lexmark E120N

Any comments or thoughts would be welcome

I've a printer that is out of your price range (260 euro) its a Brother HL-5250DN ... what it does though is duplex printing which I find very handy ... and was one of my requirements when getting one ... Also it'll hook into my router via ethernet ..

I'd also be a light user ... black and white ... with the old 50 - 100 pages to print from time to time.

All in all I've been very impressed by it.

I'd steer clear of inkjet printers as yes they'll cost a fortune ... they'll dry out ... they've got multiple ink cartridges ... black / colour .. and while you can pick them up for next to nothing they'll cost you in the long run.

My wife's home office has a HP LaserJet 1022 from www.elara.ie, but I see that the 1022 has been replaced by the Laserjet P1505 at €122

We've found the 1022 to be fine for light use - there are good reviews on the Apple Store site, although their prices are higher.
