JG are generally quite good, i've no experience with the g3 though myself , however it's 350fps out of the box so you'll need to get it downgraded, gunnerairsoft.com have the g3 ras and will downgrade it to 328fps for $28

10.8v reccomended, thats unusual. It would want a very strong gear box. Could be a higher rated motor...

Most clone guns come with an 8.4V and cheap charger. If you want a 9.6v any of the shops here should have them.

Im surprised it says mini battery , both G3s have a huge amount of space in the stock and actually come with a large battery as standard

If you look above its a 10.8mini or a 9.6large. Seems you just cant fit a 10.8 large, its that bit too big.

yes i also paid for a durability and reliability upgrade for all the mechanics if the g3 so they recommended one of those 2 batteries...would this battery fit??[link]http://www.eirsoft.ie/store/product_info.php?cPath=35&products_id=66[link]

Sanyo are excellent quality and a 9.6 would be the best just in case it doesn't strip the gears.

thats a great gun out of the box, but i would say though, 10.8 isnt a great idea on stock internals. they have metal 6mm bushings but you'd have to make sure the box is shimed correctly and a few other tweaks to be running that kinda voltage, ive been running 10.8 on standard JG gears for months now with bearing bushings and a good shim job., :)
