Folks just trying to gauge if there would be any interest in meeting up sometime this month, I know there is a lot on,but it would be nice to take advantage of a nice balmy evening before they are all gone and just a memory. Or perhaps at the weekend early'ish some morning !!

Could I suggest either the Saturday or Sunday monring of June 14/15th, or some eveneing the following weel , say Thursday 19th, or sometime the following week ?

Any suggestions for dates welcome, I would also like to propose that we meet somehwre in theb Phoenix Park, its fairly Central and everyone could avoid the M50/ toll booth !

...maybe. it'd be a bit of a spin for me but could be interesting in meeting a few like minded people and kicking some classic tyres.

Thursday 19th would suit me, meeting in the Park seems like a good plan.

I'm free-ish this weekend and near the Phoenix Park - I usually take the 02 fro a spin anyway so...

Okay so are we looking at Sat/Sun or next Thursday. For me I would prefer them in that exat order Sat morning, early'ish ( as in about 10.30-11) same Sun or Thursday it would have to be about 7PM

Best to state your preferences 1,2 & 3

Id imagine Saturday/Sunday would suit the majority rather that the Thursday evening option.

Anytime during the weekend would suit me fine.

Well can be way 11.00-11.30 Sunday morning ( tomorrow) in the Park. Just park up on the main straight on the Heuston station side, I'm sure we'll see eachother.

I'll be in a silver '68 Mercedes, and dont forget tomorrow is Father's Day so you get to do what you want !!

Let us know what you will be driving and who is on ok, as I intend to check on here tomorrow before setting off.

Sorry everyone, I slept it ot tody.My wife decided a lie on was on the cards, she forgot to remind me that I was going to the meeting, and only woke me now !

    Apologies to all.

    I waited for ages...

only joking - had a heavy night Sat and similar magnetic bed issues.

I did happen to be in the park later (2pm-ish) on the way back from Blanch and the place was heaving - traffic jam on the main avenue from the Aras down to the main gates...

If we do re-organise something - I'd suggest one of the other car-parks...

I think it was a bit short noticed for people too. maybe start a new thread and let it run for 2 weeks. I think next week is the Terenure show so that would be out anyway

...........true, we'll get a date up soon to aim for.

Next Sunday is Mondello, Tereunure is July 6th.

Where in Terenure is the show on?? Who is organising it? Any details.

If boards.ie are having a classic meet I would be delighted to bring the MGB along. Sunday or Saturday morning seems best.

Terenure Colledge, July 6th, probably around 1,000 cars. Its organised by the Jaguar & Daimler Club ............you can download the entry form at http://www.irishjagclub.ie/ bottom left of page.

Just resurrecting this thread...............should start a new one actually but since it seems to have dried up of late (famous last words) is anyone up for another meet up ?

Again suggest somewhere in the Phoenix park, avoiding M50 Toll in the process hopefully, anyone like to suggest a date ?

Kilbroney is cancelled on the 6th, the US show is on the 7th in Kilbeggan BTW.

Week night or a Weekend....................I'll go with the flow since I bowed out last time !
