    Should have won it two years ago when they got to the semis. Id watch out for Durham with the addition of the two South Africans, Pollock and Morkel.

    another great score by morgan yesterday and more surprisingly by porterfield (both got 62) and with o'brien's 69 the other day are we looking at a decent 20/20 irish team?

    with zimbabwe likely to be removed from the competition there's likely to be 3 qualifying spots available from the tournament in belfast at the end of july.

    will morgan, porty and o'brien be made available for ireland (given it's an icc qualifying tournament ireland could definitely enforce release)?

    apparently we weren't great in the practise matches v lashings xi at the weekend but that was without the 3 above.
