N/M6 Athlone - Ballinasloe

Now that the Athlone - Kilbeggan road is almost complete, time to look at the next link in the Dublin - Galway Road. It now looks like the roundabout at the Athlone end will be built soon as there are markings on the road. Anyone know if the works are on schedule? [rant] When are they going to switch off those flashing…

[rant] When are they going to switch off those flashing warning signs, the works they are alerting to have been completed. All they do now is cause confusion between those that know they are meaningless and those that don't.
