According to Boxrec Kiko Martinez is fighting a TBC opponent in NBA in July, Patrick Hyland is also on that card to fight another TBC opponent, Hyland should fight Martinez at Feather and see how he gets on if he wins then Dunne will defo have to fight him. Opinions?

Hyland is not ready, look at the records of the opponents he's fought. Kiko's mightn't be brilliant either but he's very dangerous as Bernard Dunne knows all too well.

Yeah I agree, if i was hyland I would be chomping at the bit to get in with Kiko, its a sure way of guaranteeing a leap in rankings and would move him into contention for a credible crack at dunne, he would have a decent chance against kiko as well IMO. The thing is he had an opportunity to stand in for McCullough up in Belfast that time and turned it down then so he obviously doesnt feel its the right fight for him but he needs to "**** or get off the pot" at some stage and he wouldnt loose too much face by being beaten by a former european champ.

didnt know he has already turned down a cradk at Kiko, surely he has enogh time to prepare now. Sure Monroe wrote the text book on how to beat Kiko ****ing easy box and get out

well when kiko turned up (overweight) for his weigh in against mccullough, the whole card was at risk and in order to keep the show alive the fight was offered to hyland who was due to appear on the undercard but the offer was turned down, i dont understand myself coz at some stage u have to take a step up and he would have had a chance IMO.

Kiko was unbeaten at that stage if he turned it down then that was right think to do at the time.
Knowing more about kiko now i'd say he should fight him but i'd say it's more kiko that won't want to fight him wit him been mandotory or the euro belt and looking fr a big payday with dunne again.

Kiko's opponent is going to be Lante Addy . Addy recently lost a Commonwealth title fight to Jason Booth down at Bantamweight , it was a wide decision and he was dropped in the process . He is very game and will be willing to war with Martinez meaning we could be in for a great fight , but he'll be too small and Martinez will punch too hard .

    Martinez tko .
