    Hi all,

Does anyone know the process for a person in the ROI making a claim against a seller who is UK based? Can the claim be lodged via the ROI or must it be lodged in the UK? Or are there any European institutions involved? The claim is only for about 300/400 euro.

    Thanks for any help/advice.

Does this work for ebay or companies like travel agencies?

As far as I remember legally the sale take place at the place where the good is handed over, so if whatever you bought was delivered to you in Ireland then small claims court should be able to help you. I'd try them first as it'll be expensive enough for you to go to court over in the UK.
