    Hi all,

I'm going slightly mad at the moment, I'm looking for a temp job..... and its proving difficult!
I've tried the usual trick throw the C.V into 3 recruitment agencies and hope one comes up trumps.
Does anyone have any tips that i'm missing or possibly a company hiring temps at the mo?

    Cheers

It really depends on the type of employment you're looking for and of course what area you're in?

I run a temp job website. I've seen a dramatic increase in CVs through the site. I've also heard some agencies are being inundated with CVs.

So I reckon you might have some trouble getting a temp job at the moment.

My advice would be to go into an agency in person (wearing your best suit/shoes/etc.) with a copy of your CV. Do their typing test and then ring them up every couple of days seeing if they have any work for you.

Basically you need to do something to make yourself stand out from the crowd.

    Best of luck.
