I always find this one a bit of a challenge, I like a book that is easy to get in to, gripping, one you don't have to think too much about, yet that isn't trashy.

Recent holiday reads for me have been:

Plain Truth - Jodi Piccoult (can't even describe how bad this was)
The Book Thief (Perfect holiday reading IMHO)
We Need to Talk About Kevin (Brilliant, but left me depressed for abouy 5 hours!)
Blaze - Stephen King (see comment on Plain Truth!)

This year I am thinking of bringing:

    A Thousand Splendid Suns
    The Gathering

Eh, that's my list so far!

What books are you bringing on your holidays this year?

"The Harsh Cry of the Heron" - Lian Hearn.

Been waiting to read it for ages, only going away for a week for the first holiday to Spain and I have a lot to do there so it should last me :)

Cannot wait to read it though :D

Also, if I get the time I want to read Heaven’s Net is Wide
