Looking for a course in basic electrics (level one) but can't find anything. All I want is to be competent enough to wire up an outside socket / water pump etc. Looking for a course one or two nights per week. Qualification not important. South County Dublin if possible.

AFAIK you are no longer allowed to do things like that according to new EU regulations unless you are a registered electrician. That's probably why you can't find such a course.
