A friend has a 16GB iPhone he got from the states. The problem is that the screen is no longer working correctly in that half the screen is black. The is no appearance for physical damage. I was wondering if anyone has had any experiance in returning an iPhone, and how to go about it.

I suspect he's boned, if the phone is unlocked. I suppose he could relock the phone and try and send it back that way and hope they honour the warranty. The other option is to get a replacement screen on e thingy. Be warned though, if its anything like the ipod case it's a screaming bitch to get open, even with the correct tools.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
