hey any one know of where a new band one the gig scene might get their first gig? all suggestions are appreciated!

Anywhere! Just split the hire price among band members and get some supports and youre sorted!:pac:

There are 2 guys that regularly put on gigs in Eamonn Dorans, try tracking down PAddy Fogerty (I have no idea how to contact him) or dermot lambert of garageland (.ie?).
Otherwise contact dorans directly to hire the venue 01-6799114. Peter is the booking agent. cost varies depending on the night, but if you get a mon/tue/wed its less than 200 yoyo. and anything over 40 people at 5yoyo each is profit. You gotta bring your own amps and Kit. If you can pull a good crowd you can get the option on a fri/sat in the future.
It's the same for most Dublin venues

hey guys thanks a million for the replys! sadly we all aint 18 so the eamon dorans gig may be a problem! oh by the way were based in dublin,templogue/terenure area!!

I got the impression from your title that you query was something along the lines of "gig please, we're British" or something.
