speedo failed after 2.5km so i cant tell you what we did...but it was over 1000 miles and over 100 mph....nice camera took our pic in Beaconsfield....(and elsewhere i dont doubt....

i think speedo failed due to low oil level as first started playing up a bit...got us home though...ANOTHER job on the list...

You have a taunus?Whats the exact term for the taunus in the picture, its quite like the MK3 cortina, but i understand theres very little in common?

in fact its exactly like a Cortina...except for the outer panels and glass and lights etc...this one (and mine) is a 1600GXL fastback Coupé...also called TC1 (which stands for Taunus Cortina mk1)....TC2 and 3 sre identical to mk4 and 5 Cortina...if you look at the picture you should be able to see that in fact the TC1 is the forerunner of the Mk4 and 5 Cortina...(look at the swage lines)..this is mine...28hfq85.jpg with the mk4 to illustrate..and the mk3...totally differrent liines on the Mk3 but the TC1 and 2/3 are the s2h3x5vn.jpgame...
