Up to the end of last year, if you bought a new Garmin satnav you could update another unit FOC (through my.garmin.com) - This facility is now gone.

I bought a new nuvi760 on basis that I could update my 660 and sell it on. The link for updating a second unit is still on mygarmin but it doesn't work. A phone call to Garmin UK confirmed that they have withdrawn this great facility.

I'm really cheeszed off now that I'm stuck with a 660 with 2007 maps

I remember seeing this announcement some time ago. They must be hard up, or it could be something to do with Nokia now owning Navteq.
