    I got a gift of Ps3 the weekend and im looking to connect it to my 24' iMac as im going to buy a tv just for the ps3 ?

    Can anyone tell me what I need and some advice on how to do it

    There's no connector to hook your ps3 to your mac, but you can get add ons that might do the trick. I'm told the Eye TV Hybrid might work, but I'm not too sure on that (never used one). Basically, you plug your Ps3 into the hybrid thingy and that plugs into you mac. Someone else here might be able to say if it works or not.

    do u have a dvi connection on the mac???

    if so you could get a dvi to hdmi convertor on dabs.ie for under €20

    That will only work IF the i Mac supports HDCP protocol which I doubt.
    If its doesn't you are going to get nothing on screen.
