    Hi,

I wish to advertise some positions that have come up in my company that we are having trouble filling. Can anyone recommend sites that get a good number of hits but dont cost much to advertise positions on?

    Thanks

    Hey OP,

I do some work with a company who launched a jobs website recently. if you want you can advertise your jobs and it is free. PM me if you want me to put you in touch.

    thanks

irishjobs.ie is a good one. You could just go to a recruitment agent who could sort it out for you.

irishjobs.ie is not free to post ads. it is actually quite expensive.

OP, have you tried recruitment agencies already?

A lot of jobs going in the place I'm working at the moment.......decent referral fees so I want to find a place to advertise them and hopefully get cv's sent to me so I can send them on instead of a recruitment agent ..........so the dont want to use expensive sites to advertise

Will your HR department be ok with you representing your employer like that?

that sounds a bit underhand to me. if you dont actually work in recruitment for your company then you cant go advertising their positions on websites. you could end up in serious trouble for that. when companies offer referral fees to employees it is for friends and family members, not for CVs you have collected through Job Sites. what happens if the company you work for see their jobs advertised on Job Sites and they havent put them there? they are going to want to know who did. and i know any of the Job Sites i have worked with wont just send the CVs on to some randomer in the company, they have to go to someone in HR or Recruitment for the company.

you might want to clear up what your intentions are before asking for assistance, becuase i wouldnt be able to put you in touch with the Job Site i spoke of if you dont have permission to advertise the roles.
