    ok so I use a ".....@hotmail.com account" to login to windows live messenger BUT I don't use the hotmail account for e-mail and it's just a cesspit for spam.

    I want to close down my hotmail account.

    BUT

    I want to set up windows live that I can login with my gmail account WITHOUT having to save my contacts to a list and importing them all again forcing them all to be invited. I want just to transfer my accounts.. Is it possible?
