Hi I just found an old mini bottle of cava from 2004 it says on the bottle drink within 3 months of purchasing? Why?

Well 3 months might be a little harsh, but i would not drink now.
White wine does not keep as well as red, but no wine keeps well in small bottles, the smaller the bottle the shorter the life. Best thing to do with it is to pour down the sink or give to someone you dont like
