    Hi all,
Im new to these forums so go easy please.

I was just looking on the expansys website and I saw the HTC touch Diamond. Now after reading several reviews I seem to be really taken with this phone. Now apparently the phones that expansys are selling are form the chinese market or something and I was just wondering would these phones work here? And also can the weather function and internet work here?
Im sorry to be asking but I am really thick when it comes to phones.

Also would it be worth going on e-bay and picking up the phone for like €200 less? Is it safe like?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Cheers

If the Expansys IE site sell them they will work here.
You can download your operator settings so the Internet and weather will work fine.
I doubt it very much if you will get this phone on e-bay for €200 or less.
You may get a cheap copy but not an original one.

Theres an ebay seeler in the Uk selling them for cheaper then Expansis, well thats if the seller is actually in the UK.

I nearly bought one myself but after reading a review on Gizmodo I'm not too sure if i'll get it.

Well Expansys are well known for high prices early on... it's an early adopter tax. I can remember them charging 750 for the N95 when its rrp was 550.

Cheers for the replys guy's. i just wanted to make sure I could get all the features before I invested in this phone. Its alot of money lik.

@ mik_da_man, I was saying I could pick the phone up for €200 less than the €660 it sells for on Expensys. I should have been more clear on that one. My bad.

Anyway Cheers for all the help.

Ah ok - been reading some reviews though and it seems like expansys are selling the Chinese version only.
This means no warranty so I would steer clear.
They will have the Europe version in a few weeks.

If the e-bay seller is giving fll warranty then it may be a good deal - but make sure it has.
