Kodak Easyshare software

I use Koak's Easyshare software to transfer pictures from my compact to a PC.
The pictures were transferred to an album with the default name of YYYYMMDD. Now in the the latest version the default format has become DDMMYYYY which buggers up my filing system.
I cannot see how to change the default back - the Kodak website is not helpful: can anyone suggest a solution, please?

you could always try rolling back your recent software upgrade

Thanks. I guess that is the only solution.
Got a reply from Kodak, utterly useless and unhelpful.

Some of the experiences with graphics file extensions are so bewildering that even experts in photographic companies do not seem to know how to answer and solve issues.
Recently some of my Canon files (extension CR2) were corrupted into Kodak PCD files and rendered unreadable. (I have no conscious contact with Kodak).
A paranoic would assume that this is some interesting plot to get photographers to buy new programs to make corrupted files readable. Fortunately, I had made copies, before this problem set in.

Hi, I have another kodak question maybe someone will be able to answer.

It is, when viewing thumbnails in the "my collection" view there are captions written underneath the thumbnail images. However when I go to print the photos the captions are not included in the print-out. So I am wondering is there any way to include these captions under the photo when printing?

    Thanks.
