Pleasantly surprised by this, a fabulous game with dirty, grainy, grimey visuals and genuinely scary moments. Gameplay is pretty original too, the combination of a FPS with CSI-like forensic examination works really well. The gunplay is quite balanced with very limited ammo, so you can't rely too much on firepower. Really enjoying it.

Yeh i thought it was pretty good but then it gets worse near the end of the game and the last few levels were appalling. Not better than the first one in terms of jumps.

I haven't tried the demo yet. Do you find the gameplay repetitive?

A little...but in a fun way; hitting a zombie with a flaming 2 x 4 is always fun. The forensics side stops it becoming too repetitive.

I really enjoyed this game but found it a little confusing as the original was not on the ps3 and we had to guess the story line

That's becoming a bit of a problem with alot of PS3 games. Devil May Cry 4made very little sense to me. Same with Ninja Gaiden so far.

I tend to stay away from games like Condemned because I dont like to be on edge, just about to crap my pants all the time, whilst playing my PS3...

DMC has always been a Playstation exclusive series, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma is pretty much the same game as the xbox original.

Didn't really like what I played of the demo of condemned 2 (what the **** is with all the mud monsters, I wanna beat up some hobos!!!)

I played the start of the demo and was too terrified of it, the atmosphere n the game is outstanding, but I don't think my heart could handle the whole game

Though that might make me give it a shot.

picked this up brand new for 18 quid on ebay recently, super game

pant****tingly scary in places tho, and i tend to be a right fanny when it comes to scary games. i refused to play past the room with the giant spiders in the original resident evil... walked into the room, saw them, walked straight back out and never played the game again

The level when you are in the
Crime Headquarters, the Hotel(mirror part) or when you are getting chased by the Bear
scared the hell out of me.

But like I said in the above post, the ending disappointing and not Jumpy at all.
