    Got a new iPhone from states as a present, unlocked and all working fine, but I can't seem to see where to add a photo to a text message. Am I missing something?

    Yes, you are. It doesn't do MMS.

    You have to download software to do that.

    Thanks for that, just took it for granted that there would be mms on it already. Any recommendations where I could download relevant software?

    swirly mms is the app you are looking for. Should be in your installer or cydia I think. For settings, there is another thread back along.
