What would you do to improve the framing, setting etc of this image?
It took my breath away while I was walking there, on camera its hard to show
    that.

First of all, you are way over the max limit for posting(800px longest side).

Secondly, its a nice shot, but I can easily believe it doesn't have the impact you thought it might, sometimes you gotta be there.....

Looking at the shot, I would say you could up the contrast a bit, but it lacks foreground interest and leading lines. Maybe cropping out some of the bottom might help.

    Thanks,

I've changed the link size to something more sensible.
The foreground heather is a bit large aright, I think you might be right there.

It looks like the kinda place that would take your breath away alright, but next time, try to get lower to the ground - if there was something in the foreground of the shot, it would bring it together much better!

Yeah you need some foreground interest to seal the deal - I've taken literally thousands of shots like this because when you're there in the flesh, you really do appreciate rolling hills and other natural vistas. But you need something to draw the person in, there has to be something that they can reat their eyes on immediately.
