    Hi all,

Ive been meaning to get a scooter for a few years now and heed some advise on where to go, what to look out for etc. I really would prefer a secondhand model in around the 1,000 - 1,300 mark. Ive looked around online and the styles I like are the

    VMoto Milan
    Vespa LX 50

Anyone offer me some advise please.

    Many thanks

    O

Get a common one, so parts etc are easy to come by

Don't carry people on the back often cos it wears don't the scooter tons

You need a full licence to carry a passenger legally, doesn't sound like the OP has one, now does it!

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

Certainly not. But I wouldn't like any newcomer here to get the idea it's ok, or tolerated. It puts up the price of my insurance, and yours.

dont waste money on a scooter. buy a 125 dragstar. their the best bike around and look much bigger than they are.

Dragster 125 is sloow and heavy, why not buy a vespa PX200 with 4 gears and sit your Full "A" test on that and pass!
