One of the key features to zombianity is that they don't feel pain, and don't require the same level of integrity as humans to carry on. Zombie prob wouldn't even notice tbh.

If you used that, you would end up with a zombie with a mace stuck in its forehead. :)

Hmmm, it should cause no reaction painwise, but it should have the same effect on the zombie's ability to see as it would on a living person, giving the mace sprayer precious seconds to get out of reach of the zombie.

Yup, but don't forget zombies don't rely on sight the way we do. They rely on all senses equally, so your escape best be quiet

Yeah Ive seen zombies missing their eyes and indeed most of their head, just a set of mangled jaws hanging from just enough skull to house a brain. They can find their way about as good as any. It has been hypothesized (but not proven) that they may have an extra sense that we don't know about.
Their eyesight is poor anyway. Since they don't blink all sorts of dust etc. scratches them to the point where they would be useless to a living human. Hence why over time zombies adopt that 'milky-eyed' look.

True, but they do react to movement, and if you are in a position to be able to mace one in the eyes, it would be pretty safe to say that the zombie was now using sight as it's primary sense to locate you as it was so close. The seconds that it would be disorientated would be enough to avoid being bitten, and to either get away or to smash it's head in.

And lets face it chances are you'll be able to bash it's brain in with the mace anyway.

Sorry but try that and you're dead.
You won't disorientate a zombie by spraying it in the eyes. It will keep coming regardless. The only way to slow them down is through blunt force. Even then it won't delay them for long.

Mace would be better saved for renegade humans. It might work on quislings, depending on how far gone they are.

Haha...I meant pepper spray...but I think the battle mace will do just fine!

I thought zombies tracked you by the scent of your flesh...blood...brains..not so much sight. Next time I'm tracked by one...I'll be sure to ask, "how did you find me here", b4 I start bashing! LOL!
